AI Visibility Checker — is your brand visible in AI?
An AI visibility checker tests whether AI assistants actually recommend your brand. Type a query your customers would ask, pick a country, and this checker sends it live to 7 AI platforms — ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude and Copilot — then shows which brands and sources each answer cites, on screen in 30-60 seconds.

What does an AI visibility check tell you?
AI visibility is whether AI assistants cite or recommend your brand when people ask questions in your category. Unlike a Google ranking, there is no position 1-10 — an AI answer either includes you as a cited source, mentions your name without a link, or leaves you out entirely.
A single check answers three practical questions: which competitors AI engines currently recommend in your category, whether your own site is among the cited sources, and how the answer changes between markets — because an assistant answering from Istanbul cites different sources than one answering from New York.
Which three checks should you run first?
Most brands discover their real position with three queries:
- Category query — “best [your category] tools” or “[your service] recommendations”: shows who AI engines treat as the default answer in your market.
- Brand query — “what is [your brand]?”: shows whether AI engines know you at all, and whether what they say about you is accurate.
- Competitor query — “[competitor] alternatives”: shows whether you appear where buyers are actively comparing options.
How does the checker verify a citation?
Cited means the AI answer contains a real URL pointing to your domain. Seomatiq deliberately separates this from a mention, where your brand name appears in the text without a link. AI models sometimes hallucinate brand references, so counting text mentions as visibility inflates the numbers — this checker only marks “Cited” on a verified URL match.
Every query runs live against the selected platform from the selected country — no cached answers. When we first ran this methodology on our own brand in mid-2026, 0 of 183 AI answers in our category cited us while one competitor was cited 33 times. That gap is exactly what this checker makes visible.
What are the limitations?
AI answers are probabilistic: the same question can return slightly different sources on different days, so treat one check as a snapshot, not a verdict. Visibility also differs per platform — being cited by Perplexity says nothing about ChatGPT. For a trend you can act on, run the same queries weekly or use continuous tracking, which monitors your prompts daily across all 7 platforms.
After the check — how does the system work?
Measure, produce, publish, prove — in one platform
Seomatiq is a loop, not a one-off checker: it measures where you stand in AI answers, produces the missing content in your brand's voice, publishes it, and proves daily whether citations follow. The four panel modules carry that loop end to end.
Who gets recommended when your customers ask AI?
Runs any question live across 7 AI platforms from any of 16 countries, and shows which brands and sources each answer cites.
Business impact: you see the exact questions your competitors are winning — so content investment follows evidence, not guesses.
Is your visibility growing or quietly disappearing?
25-500 tracked prompts (by plan) are scanned daily across all 7 platforms: citations (verified URL match), mentions, sentiment and competitor share — recorded per target country.
Business impact: you get an email alert the moment a citation is lost — silent visibility decay stops being possible.
Who writes the answers you're missing?
Crawls your site, finds the content gaps, and generates every draft in AI-citable format — question headings, answer capsules, FAQ schema automatic — publishing to WordPress in one click, Shopify natively, or 5 export formats for any platform.
Business impact: no agency queue, no writer management — the path from gap to published page runs itself.
Does the content sound like you?
Your brand profile (tone, terminology, target market, competitors) feeds every generation — drafts read like your brand, not generic AI text.
Business impact: every published piece keeps your brand consistent; revision-round time disappears.

Frequently asked questions
Is the AI visibility checker free?+
Yes — a free account includes 3 checks per month (email verification required). Connecting your site earns a 100-credit gift; additional checks use a small credit amount.
Which AI platforms does it check?+
ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Google AI Mode, Gemini, Claude and Microsoft Copilot — 7 platforms, selectable per check.
Why does the country matter?+
AI engines localise answers. A query asked from Turkey returns different cited sources than the same query from the United States. The checker runs your query from the country you choose — 16 countries supported — so you measure the market you actually sell in.
What is the difference between “cited” and “mentioned”?+
Cited = the answer contains a real URL to your domain. Mentioned = your brand name appears in the text with no link. Only URL citations are counted as verified visibility — a deliberate guard against AI hallucinations.
What should I do if my brand is not visible?+
Not being cited usually traces to missing or unstructured content for the questions AI engines answer. Seomatiq's Content Engine finds those gaps, generates optimised drafts and publishes them — then daily tracking shows whether citations start appearing.
